Company History:
Meaptashi was established in 1980, by V.K. Tripathi with the goal of bringing innovative HVAC products and technologies to the six GCC countries. He founded Meaptashi on a few basic principles:
- Sell QUALITY products
- Operate with INTEGRITY
- Have it in STOCK… when the customer needs it
- Develop a QUALITY STAFF… comprehensive internal training program
- Not to expand into CONTRACTING… don’t undercut your customers
Company Growth/Innovations:
Meaptashi has undergone an impressive, sustained expansion over the past 20 years:
- Our facilities now include a total of 20,000ft² of combined office/warehouse space.
- With the support of principals, Meaptashi has had two organized expansions of the market area it services, which now spans seventeen countries in the Middle East and Subcontinent. Meaptashi is the only HVAC trading company in the UAE with a truly regional presence, with more than 70% of our sales coming from outside the UAE.
- Currently a team of 21 people, including graduate engineers with a combined HVAC market experience of over 90 years, is involved in marketing and sales support services.
- Due to our technical expertise, and successful track record in promoting new systems to the Middle East (Meaptashi is proud to have introduced to the Gulf the then “revolutionary” concept of insulated flexible ducts and double skinned air handling units), Meaptashi also markets “specialized technology” products in the electro-mechanical field e.g. air raid shelter systems, impedance pipeline heating systems, seismic support and bracing.
Looking Ahead:
Meaptashi will be the ethical, profitable, market growth leader in our industry. This will be accomplished by the ingenuity and integrity of our employees working to meet the needs of our customers, providing them with superior products and services. We will constantly deliver innovative new products and services, and will search for new markets and profitable growth opportunities
Our plans in the near future include establishing strategic regional offices, while maintaining our principal of strong head office support.
One of the exciting projects we are currently involved with, in conjunction with one of our principals VIMCO, is working with local government/municipal bodies to develop a comprehensive seismic building code, suitable and catered specifically for this region
